Bermuda's Peak Academy Though his eyes were open, the only thing he could see was darkness. Faint outlines of the ceiling above his head and object around him in the room, but he couldn't tell what they were. What time was it? If it was daytime then surely there would be at least a little light even if the electric lights were turned off. Unless there weren't any windows in the room, which, the more he looked around, appeared to be the right assumption. Which could only lead to one more question... Where was he?
Feeling began to come back to his body. He could move again. He tapped his fingers against the surface he had found himself laying upon. It was soft and smooth like a pillow, though with how big and firm it was, it was more like a mattress, probably. Was he in bed? Whose bedroom was this? Certainly not his... Right?
He sat up slowly, pushing himself up from the mattress and swiveling himself so that his feet were over the edge of the bed. H
