Men in Black II (2002)
Director: Guillermo del Toro
(Del Toro's flair for imaginative creature design, emotional depth, and blending of humor with darker themes adds a fresh layer to the Men in Black universe.)
The movie begins with a flashback to 1973, showing a young Agent K (de-aged Tommy Lee Jones) and his partner Agent D investigating an alien conspiracy involving "The Light of Zartha." K rescues an infant girl from Serleena (Lara Flynn Boyle), a ruthless, shape-shifting alien who seeks the Light to claim dominion over the galaxy. Before departing Earth, Serleena vows to return, leaving K haunted by the prophecy of Zartha’s destruction. K entrusts the infant to a Zarthan guardian, who hides her among humans.
The scene transitions to the present day, where Serleena, disguised as a model for a galactic fashion brand, lands on Earth with her monstrous minions, determined to finish what she started.
Agent J (Will Smith) has grown into a confident, capable, and charismatic field
