Rachel The Witch stood atop of the Seattle Space Needle, tinkering with a complex looking magi-tech device. “The Witch” wasn’t actually part of her name, though with her appearance it might as well be. She almost always wore black to cover up any potion spills, and atop her bright orange bob-cut sat a stereotypical witch’s hat; she wore it because it was really comfortable, of course. The device she was tinkering with was about the size of a microwave, with an antenna on top and black cables running from it. Front and center was a countdown, currently set at two hours and yet to be set off. Just below that was a clear section, through which a strange glowing green liquid pulsed with an otherworldly life of its own. With a final rune-covered screw put into place, the device began to hum and powered to life, the clock beginning its countdown. What would happen when the timer hit zero was something known only to Rachel and a few close friends, but suffice to say it would make this
