Welcome to Wildwood University!
The air at the Wildwood University gates was thick with the scent of pine and the low hum of late-summer insects. Three prospective students stood clustered together, their expressions a mixture of awe and the kind of nervous energy that only a new campus could inspire. The male wolf, a lanky figure with fur the color of storm clouds, was already a picture of academic distress, his grey hair a chaotic mess and his arms crossed over his chest. Beside him, a male squirrel, whose own auburn tail was twitching with a frantic, nervous energy, clutched the strap of his messenger bag like a lifeline, his bright, beady eyes darting in every direction. Completing the trio was a female rabbit, her soft, cream-colored fur making her look smaller and more vulnerable than the others; she was wringing her paws, her long ears drooping slightly as she tried to absorb the sheer scale of the place. A sharp, impatient clearing of a throat snapped them to attention.
Leaning against one of the imposing
