“Dave you’re so cute.~” Dirk cooed at the 4 year old.
“Bo you are crazy.” Dave simply replied.
You smiled at the pair. Dave was so adorable and cute, you thought you might squeal out in glee, from his cuteness. His voice was just so adorable, how he said “Bo” instead of “Bro”.
“You are so adorable!”
“Bo stop it.”
“No Dave let me love you.”
“(____)” Dave said as he held his arms towards you.
You smiled and took the small boy from Dirk. You smiled and blew a raspberry in the boy’s cheek.
“Bwahaha, (____) stop it!” He said cutely.
You smiled and started to tickle his side’s, and you giggled as he laughed uncon
That's when a puppet pops up in front of you, and god is it creepy. You shriek and throw yourself back away from it. Instead of hitting the pavement like you expect, you land in someone's strong grip.
A boy closely resembling your classmate, Dave Strider, holds you in the crook of one arm, and that puppet in the other. The style is more spiked and anime looking, but that's a very familiar looking color of blonde hair. His shades are crazily pointed, but they still hide his eyes. Even his mouth is that same damned expressionless line.
"Are you related to Dave Strider?"
"Do you realize that this is hardly the time to ask that?"
"Didn't think so. I'm taking you back to your house now."
He grabs your hand and starts to drag you away. You're at first out of sorts. He pops up out of nowhere and suddenly tries to drag you around. He can't do that.
Shaking your head for clarity, you dig your feet into the path.
"W-wait a minute! What do you think you're doing?" You e
Fiddling with the cigarette behind his ear and thinking about lighting it, Dirk lowered his feet from his desk when his buzzer went off. Clicking the answering machine, he drawled a slow, “Yes?” toward his secretary.
“The band is here.”
A sigh. And then, “Fine. Send them in.” He let his finger off the button and straightened his tie. “Ungrateful brats showing up half an hour late. Do they know how hard it is to make a record with my company?” Fiddling with the glowing crystal around his neck, Dirk blew smoke rings out of his mouth to pass the time until finally a knock came at his door.
Waving away the smoke, Dirk stood and beckoned for them to enter. The three of them entered timidly, each carrying the instrument of their choice. Crossing his arms, Dirk raised an eyebrow. “So like-”
“You three were half an hour late. Now a good friend of mine promised that you would make th
“That’s what you get you nerd! I hope you go to hell!”
“That’s right! Worthless bitch!”
“You fucking slut!”
(Name) was used to this, she heard it every day. Nothing new.
That is, until she heard a new voice yell out.
“Hey! Leave her alone!” The group of people surrounding her dispersed to show a very attractive teen with pointy shades and a black wife beater. The first thing (Name) did was walk back to get away from him. He would hit her, or call her names, or embarrass her even worse.
He didn’t do any of those; he held his hand out for her to grab. When she hesitated, he reached for it and pulled her up to him.
The crowd gasped and some of the girls glared at her. The boy just held on tighter and dragged her out of the hallway to a secluded area: the roof.
She smiled at him, hiding the feelings that she felt behind it. The smile that could trick everyone into thinking she was fine. She was a pro at using it. She thought he never noticed. She thought no one noticed or even remotely cared about it. It had gotten to the point where she couldn't even show her real smile. She didn't even know what her real smile looked like anymore.
"See you later, Dirk!" She smiled with that same emotionless smile again. He waved as they both parted ways in the street. Dirk Strider lived across from her, always walking her home and making sure she got home safe as well. The neighborhood they lived in wasn't the safest place, but it was still liveable. They had been friends since the first day they started grade one. Dirk and (Y/N) had spent most of their lives as best friends, making it inevitable that his f
'Thy pearl is gone' the witch doth said
Immediately his heart filled with dread
'My pearl is gone? Blasphemy!
It's somewhere here, now give it to me!'
The teal eyed witch cackled and gave a wink
'I made a good choice with you I think!
Scour the earth until you find your prize
Eventually thou will'st see it before thine eyes!'
The fox now scours year by year,
Not finding his treasure is his biggest fear.
'Run, little kitsune, tear this world apart
I've always known that you were a Prince of Heart.'
Groaning and slapping at his alarm, Dirk rolled over and blinked his eyes blearily at the ceiling. Another day gone; another day I don't have my full power.
It was all because of that stupid witch that he couldn't even get revenge on because she went and got herself killed. "Fucking Terezi," Dirk mumbled, rising from his bed and throwing on a pair of jeans. Running a hand through his hair, he left his shades on t

"Oh," you began. "Hey there, didn't expect to see you.."
You opened the door, to see Dirk Strider. He gazed at you from behind his triangular shades.
"Yeah, I guess you didn't," he began. "But wouldn't you want to let me in at least?"
You scoffed before stepping towards the side for Dirk to enter.
"Well excuse me Derrick." you said as you rolled your eyes.
The man walked in and plopped down on the couch with his hands in his pockets.
"Don't call me that." Dirk said with irritation.
You giggled slightly before sitting next to him.
"But Dirk is short for Derrick, so why not?" You asked with the tilt of your head.
He sighed before slouching in his seat.
"And why are you here any way?" You asked, still tilting your head. "Don't you have anime to watch?"
Dirk looked towards you. Despite how you couldn't see his eyes, you could tell that he was already angry.
"Those DVDs were for rent, I had to retur
You see, it was suppose to be the the most fun day of the Term since in most of the lessons the teachers either let you chill and watch a movie or finish of the lest lesson's work. To you though it wasn't as fun as it should be.
In the morning some random guy you exchanged few words with began pissing you off, you told him to stop but he ignored you; at some point he pushed you over your line and you ended up on Lunch detention for slapping him across the face so hard the contact with your hand made him fall onto the floor. Nevertheless you were proud of yourself because now he didn't dare to come any way near you.
And here you are walking out of the detention room and heading over to the Canteen where your friends are eating lunch. You don't have many friends maybe four or five. You have your own littl
Dirk realized it too late. He didn't know she was hurting so much inside. He didn't know she had been suffering alone, not even talking to anyone about it. Not even him.
That is, until she left him a message on his pesterchum.
I'm sorry, but everything has gotten really hard for me to bare. I can't take the insults and abuse anymore. I won't make this long but I need to get this off my chest before... before I'm gone.
Dirk, I love you. I always have since we first met in junior year. You really made me happy.
But I know you won't return the feelings. Don't feel bad! I'm just glad I got to love you.
This is going to be the last time you'll ever hear from me. I'm sorry.
And so he ran. He didn't care about the fact that his brothers were yelling at him to get back in the apartment. He didn't care that his heart was racing, that his
You breathed heavily and gathered yourself before you came downstairs. Looking around nervously, you crept over to the door and took a 20 dollar bill from your pocket. You then swung the door open and threw the 20 dollar bill at whoever it was.
"Uh, thanks ?"
You look up at the sunglasses of Dirk- No, I meant Bro- Strider.
"Oh, sorry about that, Bro." you say nervously. "I was just about to play Slender and"
Bro held up his fingerless-gloved hand and nodded.
"I get it."
"Um, so do you want to, uh, come up and ?" you said with the awkward burdening you. Bro looked at you, and then he stepped in
So that would explain the blush that heated his cheeks as he sat on the edge of Dirk's bed, listening to his new rap in which he threw himself into, eyes closed and face lost; It used to be amusing for t
[Both Reader and Dirk are 18 here. And this is a drabble. 'Nuff said.]

"[Name]!" You heard a voice. You slowly blinked your eyes, gazing at the [f/c] ceiling. Your head turned at your bedside, where your clock was. 4:13 AM was flashed in neon green text. You groaned. Who in the right mind would be awake in this time?! Especially not you.
"[Name]!" Okay, that voice really need to shut up. Why would they even call you at this time, they would know that you didn't like getting up early.
Now that you think about it... why would the voice call you in the first place?
"[NAME]!!" The voice sounded impatient. You rubbed your eyes and mumbled unlady-like words, before standing up and walking like a sleepy person would do. You walked to the balcony, where the source of the voice was. You looked down, and your eyes widened at the point wher
