Original dome diameter: 7 meters • Such a dome can be made, instead, of sheet metal, assembled with pop-rivets

Funny thing: Most of my work doesn't show up in Google searches. (I have no idea why.) Generally, people find me & my geodesic constructs through links at other websites (like Domerama.)

I hope you find things, not only visually appealing, but technically helpful, as well.

Feel free to ask. I don't know that I can help much with calculations. Except for the phyllotaxis deviations, I didn't use calculations -- I employ geometric construction methods.

Hopefully, however, I should be able to point you in the right direction.

Hi Taff Goch!   

Your 92 gears are blowing my mind.

I found it searching for ideas for a graphic to represent our event management application - showing that it is one integrated system with components engineered to work together.

1.  Could we use this as-is on our website?  We can add attribution as you require.

2.  Even more amazing would be if we could label each large gear with the name of one of our subsystems.   is it possible to make such a variant of the animation?
