It is a beautiful painting and overall I think your critique is fair... but I think the high score in originality is unjustified since it's only a reproduction of a photo that adds nothing new.
Ah, about the proportions, I traced the contours leaving out all the fluff, the large ears and the membrane. Can you see what I meant? ^^ [link]

Thank you for the critique, you're right in all points. 
However, the smallness of the hindquarters only became so obvious during the development of the picture. The gliding membrane makes the forequarters seem larger than they are, and the effect only became really stark when I enlarged the ears and the cheek fur. I'd read that one shouldn't draw the haunches of an animal more than 1/4 of its altogether height and since then I'm afraid of making them too big.
Aw, and of course, the entire concept and thus the originality are created by ~Celeun.
