Renna: I still can't believe you came all this way to find me.

Connor: Why wouldn't I come to find you? Renna You're my soul mate, not to mention my fiancée.

Renna: I know, but I thought you would wait for me at the village. Now that you left, you can't return again.

Connor: I know, but maybe they'll make an exception?

Renna: Not for a half-elf. I'm sorry honey, but our laws are strict, even if you've lived with us for 500 years.

Connor: Yeah, but being out here with you beats listening to your parents constantly belittle me and telling me I don't belong at the village just because I'm a half-elf.

Renna: They haven't gotten better since I left huh?

Connor: Not even a little.

Renna: Pity. I wish they would change, I've met so many people who have shown me that there is more to humans than just war and destruction. They can be kind, compassionate, loving, peaceful. They are just like us but... more complicated.

Connor: It sounds like you've made some friends?
