Kentrosaurus aethiopicus

Reconstruction of the African stegosaur Kentrosaurus aethiopicus. Here the animal is depicted while running.... or dancing.... or doing some weird movements. I was really tempted to draw it running on two legs, but in the end I decided to left this concept for another stegosaur reconstruction.

Reference: Gregory Paul's skeletal drawing of Kentrosaurus aethiopicus from his Filed Guide.

Medium: Pencils (2B and 5B) on yellow paper

I'm not a fan of details such spikes in the dewlap, specially such long ones, but I love the way you make the scales and the coloration so much (even the floor) that you deserve my fav anyways :3

Well, the dewlap is artistic licence, so there are going to be people who may don't like it. That's normal, and I'm fine with it.

Thanks for the compliments. :)
