Description
Reconstruction of Gigantspinosaurus sichuanensis, the basal-most stegosaur known to date. It lived during the Late Jurassic, in what's now China. Here, it is depicted while resting in somewhat crouching position. I'm not entirely sure if the anatomy of stegosaurs allows positioning the body in such manner, but it seems natural enough to me to give it a chance and illustrate it. If not else, it's just an unusual way to portrait a stegosaur.
