Ornithischia's phylogeny after Sereno, P. C. (1999), Weishampel, Dodson and Osmolska (2004) and Butler et. al. (2008); (in the light of newer discoveries changes in the ranges of the different clades were added)
The range zone continuances for each of the depicted dinosaur's genera are based after the data from Genus List for Holtz (2008) Dinosaurs.

Skeletal drawing references: For the making of the illustrations for this poster were used skeletal drawings by :iconshartman: , :iconfelipe-elias: , :icondinomaniac: and Gregory Paul. For some of the drawings were used images from unknown artists (atleast for me) find through Google and Wikipedia.

Note: I'm completely aware that there could be some inaccuracies in this poster. Just keep in mind that I was working with various sources of information, sometimes contradicting of each outher, so in the end I had to just pick up one and follow it.

This poster will be used mainly by bachelor students in specialties Geology and Biology, therefore it's supposed to be as simple as possible but in the same time it should be informative and giving good and accurate idea for the evolution of dinosaurs.

Evolution gives to dromaeosaurids jaws, velocity, force, great teeth and the ability to kill
Evolution gives to birds just the ability to fly, or swim
Dromaeosaurids died in KT, birds didn't. Natural selection is sarcastic

 This is fantastic, along with your other evolutionary works :) I love how these are so simplified, easy to follow, and yet you still managed to keep everything fairly accurate (from what I can see.) The layout especially is very pleasing to the eye. Sometimes having too much information crammed onto a page makes it difficult to follow, so I really like the fact that you limited the amount of information that's actually on the page. Excellent work!

This looks pretty simplified indeed. Especially the placement of Tyrannosaurus in line with Spinosaurus. Kinda reminds me of the time when Carnosaurs were considered the ancestors of Tyrannosaurs.
EbolaSparkleBear Featured By Owner Oct 16, 2010
What? They're not ancestors?
MugenSeiRyuu Featured By Owner Oct 17, 2010
Nope. The Tyrannosaur-similarities to Carnosaurs are actually the result of convergent Evolution.
