And here's-wait...does the JPOG version count?

I think it does count. Anyway you can always re-skin it to looks like my Camarasaurus.

Looks like a good book illustration to me =)
I used to have one dinosaur book when I was 7 or 8 - I was always skipping the page with T-Rex, it was so scary =D

Very nice art!

Thank you!

When I was 8 years old my favorite page was that with T.rex. :)

I'm always surprised with the big head of Camarasaurus, which seems odd and strange, taking into account the rest of the sauropods.
You portrayed marvelously these creatures! watercolours suit fantastic to your style, and you have tremendous skills using them... how do you work? do you make some initial very simple sketch and then paint? or is all done with the watercolours?

between 1 and 10, you receive a 15! fantastic!!!!

Thank you very much!

I agree with you about Camarasaurus' head. It's really strange compared to the other sauropods. Until I was drawing this piece I stoped few times to think for awhile am I drawing the head right. Was it too big, or too small? Anyway, I think I drew it a litlle bit smaller than we are used to see in most reconstructions but I'm still happy with the final result.

I'm glad you like my watercolours work. I always start with pencil sketch and later put the paint over it. If you download this artwork and zoom it you can see a few places where the pencil lines are still visible. Usually in the begining I'm using some basic colour for all objects and then I add more complex colours to make these objects look 3D. I can't done all this only with watercolours without skecthing.

Beautiful! Colors look very original for a sauropod...I like it!

Thank you!

At first I thought to make it with black and white coloration like zebra but later I choosed earth tones. Anyway I think this combination of colours is unusual.

Yeah, very unusual. But as the dinosaurs are closely related to birds, it is not so far fetched to have them brightly colored with unusual combinations of shades, even sauropods ;)
