The universal panacea is simple: Do MORE.
With every piece you do, whether its a triumph, or abject failure, you improve. Sometimes its imperceptible and sometimes you will make great leaps. But you will always move forward. Sometimes, kicking and screaming, and pulling your hair out all the way.
The only way to NOT improve is to sit on your hands, cry in your milk, and do nothing.
