Hello t-annhauser, I wholly concur with BeckyKidus, and welcome! This outlet has been a lot of fun for me and an exciting outlet for for my art. Over time you will develop relationships with different artists and you can be very helpful to each other with not just critiques but more importantly techniques and ideas. The airplane is a collaberation between myself and jimboricky to build a model from one of his drawings, it was a challenge! So yeah be active, answer posts, post regularly and in bulk. Do the welcomes. I received zero welcomes and just now learned about the forums from BeckyKidus. Give lots of llamas, it is a way to remind others you are still here. I would add to BeckyKidus by warning about the scammers. I get hit about twice a month and know that I know they get zero percent of my time.. They are easy to spot, they use almost the same wording in every post. "Hi, I want to use your work as part of a mural/for a client/in a contest/a museum piece/etc. and you will get paid for your work." If you are not sure, ask them for exact amount of money and insist on staying on DA for any business for your protection. If they cannot answer or want to use another means of contact block them it is a scam. Ask for the art they want to use, if they send a link, block them, it is a scam.
