"Cachexial" Watercolor on Paper from September 2003

This painting was done while both of my hands were still in splints, stapled and wrapped after skin graft surgery from a fire about a month or two earlier.

it's interesting that it seems not having fine control over your hand isn't a disadvantage, and maybe can be the opposite.

Thanks! I think I spent a total of 2 weeks not trying to draw or paint... that's as long as I could go before I'd go comatose.
