After the first sketch I was told those weren't the right kind of horns, so here we go again.

Finished color version of Violetta, Hellbred bard and leader of The Misfits.

Pencil, ink and Photoshop.

Thanks! :) The character belongs to my friend's wife, I just did my best to illustrate her.

Ha! This is interesting :)

She's a character belonging to one of my good friends in their last Planescape/Spelljammer campaign. :)

Dang! What a striking job done coloring this pic! Her outfit and equipment look great!

Thank you very much! :)

You're welcome. Violetta looks rather feisty as well! Par for course, being a tiefling and all. Don't know where an 'electric pink bordered' corset and leather pants are going to come from in a fantasy world -- 'ye ol' magic leather goods shoppe' I suppose. Maybe they are her +1 leather armor?!

I like her, she freaks me out. Despite her impractical armor :)

Heh... the impractical armor was requested actually, as according to my friend who played her, the character had a benefactor that made her some magically powerful armor that was made purposefully to show her off so-to-speak. ;)

I think female tieflings got the better end of the horn deal in 4e. The horns on the males is just so ugly. It helps that Violetta here is gorgeous.

I'm sticking to my guns and 3.5, lol... don't need to be out a few hundred bucks on new books for another system. ;)

Thanks for the compliment! :)

I've been personally playing Pathfinder which is something along the lines of 3.75. The basic 3.5 rules with some additional quirks like a unified mechanic for tripping/grapping/disarming and specific bloodlines for Sorcerers. Still haven't bought the book though as all the info I need is on-line.

Actually, our DM is converting a lot of rules to Pathfinder too for our campaign. :)

Some of it I like as it seems to incorporate a lot of errata from various magazines I used to read into the core rules (like bloodlines for example).

I didn't care for their version of the Swashbuckler as much, though... but that may change as we play.

A lot of new stuff recently came out for the Pathfinder Advanced guide. The Witch class in particular (hexes, gets its spells via its familiar) really interests me. Must not purposefully kill my character.

Haven't seen the Swashbuckler yet.

Lol... I'll have to remind myself to keep mine alive too! I'm focusing on a Rogue/Gatecrasher with Exotic Weapon Master for some Starwheel Pistols currently... but I will have to keep the Witch class in mind for next time. ;)

Do I need much of an excuse to talk about my character? Heck no. My current Character is a charismatic Half-Orc follower of Torag (The Pathfinder Universe's dwarven God). He actually converted in game so he's kind of a multi-class mess. At 5th level he's gone through Sorcerer, Paladin, and just took his first level of Oracle. Basically a holy warrior with a few spells at his disposal.. mostly detects and self-buffs. The GM is anti-respec so it is going to be fun keeping everything in line.

Sounds interesting! I haven't drawn many Half-Orcs yet (hardly any if I think about it) but I would love to give it a shot.

Send me some character specs sometime and I'll see if I can draft up a version you might be interested in. ;)
