Love and Hate

I thought I loved only to realize, I haven't hated, until I did. Then, it was all the same to me. Love and hate. Actually, I would've preferred it if you sincerely hated me. At least in one way, I would've been sure how sincere the feelings were. With love, you just never know...the amount, strength, durability. Hate, however, is timeless, endless, once you start hating on something, someone, it never truly goes away. You either hate them, that, all the time or you swallow the hate and turn a bit more bitter each time you do so. Each time, you become a bit worse of a person than you used to be, than you remember yourself to be. Eventually, by hating them and that, you start hating yourself. After that, no amount of love, from them and that can help you. Not even your love can help you, your love towards the world and yourself. You're ruined. So, when you ask me, again and if you do ask me, what's stronger, love or hate, know that once I've loved every creation of this world only to get

She Is The Ocean

She (The Ocean) She is the ocean and I but a drop of water She lies waiting as I fall from the mountaintop rolling and tumbling along the rivers ever traveling ever yearning to be part of Her to add my essence to her whole but She is the Ocean and I a drop of water my importance is small an' yet I travel on till I lie once again cradled in Her arms for She is the Ocean and I but a drop of water

Self-eaters (Poem)

We learned a new hunger and called it progress. It eats without teeth, with ledgers, with smiles, with hands washed clean in public fountains. The city kneels before gold like a god who never forgives debts. Coins blossom into towers, and beneath them ribs are counted in the dark. The rich reap what they did not sow, and the poor become transparent, until hunger itself forgets their names. Good walks barefoot through the streets, and evil rides past in a polished car, windows tinted against conscience. Hatred has learned to speak softly now- it calls itself opinion, it wears a suit, it asks for patience while it sharpens its knives. We scroll past suffering as if pain were an advertisement we’ve already seen. A child’s cry buffers, then disappears. A war fits neatly between recipes and weather. Indifference is efficient-it costs nothing and saves the soul the trouble of trembling. The strong train their muscles on the backs of the weak. They call it survival, as if mercy were an

Psychedelic Genius (Poem)

He tuned the universe to a mirror-ball frequency and called it a song. Before the stadiums learned to roar, before the machines learned to march, he listened to ants crossing sunlight, to bicycles dreaming of bells, to the way a child’s question can bend time. Cambridge clouds stitched halos around his hair, and his chords-loose, laughing, feral- refused the straight road. They wobbled. They winked. They opened trapdoors beneath polite reality. He painted sound with nursery colors and cosmic dust, where whimsy wasn’t small but brave- a dare to stay soft in a world sharpening its edges. The band became a rocket, but he was the spark- brief, blinding, burning at a temperature fame could not survive. Some minds are telescopes; his was a kaleidoscope, and the turning hurt. So he stepped sideways out of the glare, left echoes to finish the sentence. Not silence-afterimages. Melodies that still look back at us with tilted smiles, asking if we remember how strange joy once

Nothing is just black and white (Poem)

Nothing is just black and white, Where shadows fall, and light takes flight, Between the hues, where colors lie, A truth emerges-soft, but shy. The heart does not beat in lines so straight, Nor dreams abide in fixed fate. Every thought, every word, every sigh Dances on the edge of what we deny. In the grayscale of morning’s haze, We find the beauty in our maze. The moments that bruise, the moments that heal, Both are real, both can feel. The sky isn’t always blue and bright, Sometimes it weeps in the dead of night, But in its tears, there’s a subtle grace, A silver glow we can’t erase. Love’s not a simple shade of red, It’s the warmth of pinks, the cool of dread, It’s fire and ice, it’s calm and storm, A constant shift, a quiet swarm. Right and wrong blur as we grow, With every step, we come to know That wisdom lies in what we miss- The in-between, the deep abyss. We’re not just heroes or just the damned, Not perfect, nor so wrongly scammed. But in the gray, we find our place- A

You are a part of me

You see the part of me that hides you feel the part of me that cries I've locked myself inside too many times I care to admit you know my shadows know my soul know the parts of me I can't withhold. I built my wall high (and higher) Yet you took a stone and smashed it down You see the part of me that cries the part that's been hidden inside. You see the goodness in me the light I'm afraid to set free.

The Lantern in the Attic

part 1 This story is written in four parts, please read all four parts. Every Halloween, I light a single lantern in my attic. Not for decoration. Not for tradition. But because of what happened years ago. I was sixteen when I first heard the whispering. It came from the attic, soft and rhythmic, like someone humming a lullaby in reverse. My parents said it was the wind. But I knew better. The wind doesn’t call your name. That Halloween night, curiosity got the better of me. I climbed the creaking stairs, lantern in hand, heart pounding like a drum. The attic was cold colder than the rest of the house. And in the far corner, beneath a dusty sheet, I saw a mirror. Oval. Antique. And glowing faintly. I approached it slowly. My reflection looked...wrong. My eyes were darker. My smile was wider. And then it blinked. I dropped the lantern. Flames danced across the floor, but the mirror didn’t burn. Instead, it shimmered and something stepped out. Not a ghost. Not a
