I love this scene :') Matthias is so awesome!
So the colours are meant to reflect their personality -
Inej is sort of mysterious - the spy - and if you know her backstory, you'll know that she's been hurt, so I went with purple
Jesper... sigh, I have no idea why I picked green. It wasn't gonna be yellow, because that's such a Wylan colour XD And red was definitely Nina. Kaz was, of course, gonna be black. So I went with green, maybe because it usually represents money and Jesper and money are... well, you know
Nina, being a Heartrender (and because of the fact that she's always the pretty girl who lures in the mark) was red
And Matthias is Matthias - he just had to be blue!

I feel like I may have (majorly) messed up Jesper, but eh, what can I do? I blame it on the fact that I did this using just the free version of Autodesk Sketchbook, without a huge range of tools or the ability to create more  than 1 layer So let's pretend that's why it's not that great. I'M SORRY JESPER, KNOW THAT I REALLY DO LOVE YOU

Idk why I drew half of Kaz XD It just started out with his face, and then I decided to draw him leaning back on a chair because...well, the first sentence of the quote And then, I thought I'd add in his cane, and damn, that was fun to draw - next thing I knew, I had all of him except his shoes!

(And sorry about the handwriting - especially if it goes wonky! Let's blame that on the tools too )
