You've left me with ghostly flowers by synodicmeg You've left me with ghostly flowers by synodicmeg
The title doesn't mean anything, but I did enjoy drawing all the flowers. and hey it's been over a year since I've posted but I'm alive...!

It's not that I went elsewhere, just that a lot of things in life got out of control and, perhaps if I have time I'll post about it.

Short summary is I can finally b r e a t h e, the projects competitions, school, work, got out of hand but things are shaping up nicely now, and I've landed in a fantastic new job in my field, that takes the old one (and side tutoring I'd do) and mops the floor with it. So things were way too stressful for me but they've gotten a lot better and I had to invest the time into everything to get where I am now. I hope you'll all forgive my absence and I'm working and testing out different platforms to see where I can communicate more easily, or at least, stay in touch.

Aside from making gear (hats, tees, sweaters, shoes etc.) I haven't drawn for myself this past year, and completely burnt myself out from the gear orders. I had honestly considered deleting my deviantArt... and I'm glad I didn't, but still I had lost touch with enjoyment I used to get from drawing. So I want to give a small shout out and thanks to TeniCola who tumbled back into my life wanting to catch up. Had it not been for her I wouldn't have found the urge to draw for myself again, at least not at this point in time. And she's helping me dabble and test out other sites too.

The above doodle really has no meaning, but at least it was fun to draw. Hope you've all been well

//whispers Late comment is late, but it makes my heart that you were considering deleting your Dev because I would miss you and your precious artwork. I love the muted grays and blues in this one. The touch of color in the snake is neat too. Very thought provoking. Good to see you back~

I'm so glad to hear your new job has been working out for you too! That transition from college to career is nutto, and it's really jarring trying to get back into the swing of things. I'm still trying to find my footing.

omg mEG BBY--

As I said while we were chatting I'm so happy for you and you new job opportunities, I'm glad things are starting to ease up for you and glad to hear from you again!! And honestly you give me too much credit sjfkdsf I'm just glad that I could reach out to you, it was nice to talk with you about everything and I'm happy that catching up helped a bit with that art slump / ; 0 ; )/

also I know I've repeated this a lot but I cannot stress how gorgeous this art is!!!! The sheer details with the flowers and painted texture of the girl and the color gradient of the snake is so eye catching and !!!!!! gosh I love your style so much and it's so nice to see you creating your art and enjoying it again!! Definitely take whatever time you can to get back into your groove and figure out which social media / website appeal to you!

On that note the next time we chat / next time you swing by twitter, I have another website suggestion to share with you that you might find useful for organizing your media e 0 e )+

Thank you! I'm very fortunate to have gotten it tbh, it's in energy consulting and it has the option of me working remotely which eases things with travel and school. and thank you it 's good to hear from you, though boy..... do I feel what you're saying in regards to drawing for yourself. I hope you're able to find that time and inspiration again!

Oh nice! Much of my work takes place on a laptop. Though we're not able to work remotely (just yet.) Energy consulting sounds like fun! How much downtime do you find yourself with this job?

Yeah. I've been a little scatter-brained with my creativity and just became stuck of late. Though I feel like things are slowly picking back up, and I'll try to doodle some more soon.

We should talk some more over discord or something! Hopefully when we're both not too busy.
