Did you know .... Emotication has a page of emoticon related FAQs?
It can be hard to get your head around any new art form, so over at Emotication we have answered some of the most common FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) about emotes and the emoticon community. The list covers everything from which file type to use to how to use emoticons in conversation.
Whilst some questions are answered in full, many will point you to an appropriate page, journal or deviation where further information can be found. This is to ensure that all the key points are thoroughly covered and not skipped to try and squeeze everything into one paragraph.

FAQ: Where can I ask a question not covered by the list?
Whilst we have tried to cover all the basic questions about emotes, you may have a question not covered by the FAQ. If this is the case, it is best to first check the list of journals on Emotication and see if there is a designated page on the topic that may cover your query.
If not, feel free to leave a comment directly on the journal or note the Emotication group and one of the members of the admin team should be able to help you out or refer you to the appropriate page/group. The question may even be added to the FAQ page if we feel it would be useful to share the knowledge with others in the future.
Alternatively, don’t be afraid to ask any emoticonist. Generally we are an open and friendly community and the majority of members are more than willing to help out a newer emoticonist. Simply send the deviant a note or comment on their profile and hopefully they will be able to answer your question, or refer you to a more appropriate person. Just remember to be polite :)
