As you may know, I like to change my avatar around every 1-3 months. However, in recent times I have been lacking ideas and would love to see what you, the community, can come up with.

I am therefore launching a fun new avatar contest

Rules

The entry must be usable as a 50x50 avatar
The avatar must contain my emote character, Syn. (Please read notes below)
All entries must be made specifically for this contest, with the final avatar for my exclusive use.
The avatar does not have to include my name. If you opt to include a name, please use 'Syn', 'Synfull' or 'Karen'
Entries must be your own work.

Syn

Syn has been in all of my avatar since 2007 and I would like to keep the tradition. It is therefore a requirement for him to be included somewhere in the avatar. However:

He does not have to be pixelled. I'm happy for him to be drawn or included some other way
He does not have to be the main focus of the avatar
He does not have to be 15x15 pixels. You are welcome to use an alternative base size
You do not have to use my base. I strongly encourage you to use your own shading and you are welcome to alter his horn design
He must be a light blue/turquoise. You are welcome to alter his shade but he should not be a royal blue.
You can use my base (found below). However, this may affect marks in the contest and where possible, I would prefer you use at least your own shading.

Theme

The theme of the avatar is completely up to you. You are welcome to use whatever background you choose, or use a transparent one. It can be animated or static, and as mentioned above, does not necessarily have to be pixelled. The design could be focussed around Syn, or could simply include him somewhere in the design.

Whilst I do have hobbies such as Rubik's cubes, it would be great to see a range of themes and designs. This could include avatars designed for certain seasons/events, or random scenes or ideas that you can come up with.

Other Avatars

Whilst every contest needs winners, I don't want this contest to be focussed on just 3 avatars. It would be great to have the ability to use other avatars on my account at a later date, even if they sadly didn't win the contest.

It would feel wrong using these avatars without offering something in return. Therefore I will offer at least 80 to any avatar entered to this contest which I choose to use on my account(s) at some point in time.

Avatars which fit into this category may not be mentioned in the results, but the points will be transferred prior to any avatar being used. This means that even if you don't think your entry might 'win' there is still a chance of it being used and earning some points in the process
