Trial and error... Trial and error... Trial and error... need a tip? Patience.

I hope you guys enjoy this one :)

Edit: Took away the asteroids and fixed the lighting problem.

I love that nebula, it looks realy great!

Just a little feedback: Those big planets looks way too close to each other, i don`t think thats possible.

Its possible, but the distant planet would be like a 100 times larger than the closer one. You're right though, it doesn't look right. Which is why its in my scraps.

I'm glad you liked the nebula though! Thanks a lot for commenting.

Another stunning scene, excellent sense of duality and good lighting focus, just an overall brilliant work.

If you pretend really hard, the nebula looks almost like a hamburger, in a good way.

I really like this piece :D

Only thing I noticed is that there seems to be a bit of a fuzzy eraser edge at the bottom right, everything just trails off and disappears at the same point.

Oh now this one caught my eye :D certainly one of your better pieces I think. The colours are exceptional, very interesting and enjoyable. The dark pure contrasts, such as at the bottom of the piece (and the smooth flow of it) set this piece apart from the mostly-lit pieces I see too. Only suggestion which I think is important is that the lightness of the upper left stops at the lower right of the nebulae. What I am conveying is that the right side the nebulae should also cutoff with lightness at the edge of the canvas (whilst keeping the bottom half of the image purely dark as it is). The fact that it cuts off suddenly seems to be a compositional flaw to my eyes, as it seems as if something should be there (which I think would be the lightness that the other side of the nebulae has).

I would favourite it if not for the last part of a slight emptiness to the right of the nebulae. ;p

Ok let me know what you think now mr. bond :)

Focus is certainly improved without the asteroid, though, it still ends a little suddenly to the right as mentioned before. ;p It looks as if this is done to frame the dark side the planet, however, along these lines it only asks for the side to either be cropped, or extended in how the light fades away.

i like every piece of the piece, just not where you put them. the planets are both the same size, which i dont enjoy unless you really want it to be obvious or focused on that. the bottom half is just too linear for me. but the nebula made me need to change my pants :D

It doesn't look that bad, in fact there're very good, maybe the lights on the closest one are wrong but overall is beautiful.

Man awesome stuff. Your nebula came out fantastic, and your asteroids came out really good in my opinion. Keep up the sexy work.

Fucking fantastic...I mean, wow.

Love the darkness of it, the planets look beautiful. I can't say I like the asteriod much...but other than that it's amazing.

I seriously want to see a full tutorial some day...or at least a tutorial with some "not so important" stuf f left out so we don't copy you exactly...I just want to come close to that beauty.

You have r0x0red my s0x0rz.
pwned me.
This is a really great deviation (pardon the pun) from your usual style, and if my last two faves weren't already from you, this would be another one. :p

I like this a lot, espeically the Nebula. I think one thing I'd point out, the source of lighting for the main Asteroid, seems to be coming from a different direction than everything else in the piece. Maybe just try flipping the foreground element to see if it meshes better?

Good Work :)

Very original nebula, the band of dust across the two bulges of light really give it depth, almost a bit like a galaxy from side on. And that closer planet looks great, the clouds on it really look 3D even from this distance

The nebula and planets are genius.

the asteroid is a bit awkward. The asteroid has trouble expressing its form and it's hard to determine how the asteroid looks like. Like mentioned above, make it smaller or a bit a lighter.

Otherwise, fantastic piece and spectacular colors man!

Hm, bit dark but it works well :) fantastic nebula as usual though ^^

Maybe make the biggest asteroid a tiny bit smaller, it stands out a bit too much imo here :)

Good work though ^^
