Hi all,My latest deviation is a quick sketch of Ichigo Kurosaki from the Bleach anime series. Seems like all I'm doing these days is quick and dirty sketches lol but I definitely like doing them because it allows me to build up a list of works quickly, I plan later on going back to trace them over and scan them into the computer for some digital touches. I'm actually pretty happy with the way Ichigo turned out, but let me tell you, I had a hard time figuring out how to do the hair. I definitely need to work on alot of aspects of my technique. But then again that's where the fun is :) seeing your art improve over time is definitely rewardin...

Hi all,I opened up a copy of the Anime Insider and I happened to see Motoko's art on one of the pages so I decided to copy it. It turned out drastically different but I'm satisfied with the way it turns out as it is the third in my line of sketches (1 - Jin, 2 - Sesshomaru). The jacket could use some work though and the shoulders are slightly off balance. I'm definitely glad I can see these so I can pin problem areas and rectify them in future works.- Marc

Hi all,The Sesshomaru sketch currently on display is an updated version of an initial sketch I did, but I wasn't too happy with because I could not seem to capture the spirit of Sesshomaru's eyes. I'm pretty satisfied with this sketch because I feel it captures his spirit better than the other one. I must say its also hard trying to make his Hakama look puffy without making it look ridiculous hehe The other difference is I actually drew him this time around without his left arm, he had both arms in the initial sketch.- Marc
