Sparkle Theriz v2

Updated notes, this style is for a series I'm planning of Sparkly Paleo's and other creatures, ladies, etc. I'm not sure how to explain it, but this is kind of a mid-level... I plan on taking some really ugly mofo's like Estemmenosuchus mirabilis and making them look sparkly. Why, because I can.

//I am not a professional paleo artist or scientist, only an obsessed rank amateur, and this is not meant to be a completely scientifically accurate representation of any particular genus. I referenced skeletals, fossil photographs and artistic reconstructions of a number of Theriz types including Beipiaosaurus, Nothronykus and Therizinosaurus.

I'm thinking on this, and deciding whether or not it's finished. The sky on top left needs help due to the paper texture. Right now all I have is a horribly barrel-distorted digital photo, I need to find someplace that does color scans.

But I'm not happy about using cold-press paper, I don't understand why it's so hard to find hot-press paper and when I do it's the extremely expensive kind. I have one block but it's a small size, like 9x12
