White Wyvern by SylxeriaGuardian White Wyvern by SylxeriaGuardian
I had been working on an image featuring an overgrown ruins in the forest with an armor clad albino wyvern fending off a relic hunter from her territory for almost a week, but lost the scene to a computer crash. I still had the backup and reverted to that, but opening it in the application gave me an I/O error and closed the scene. It got corrupted somehow I figure.

I tried to recreate the scene a little just to show a few people on the DAZ forums what I was trying to do, and thought I'd upload it here too. I did not try to recreate the terrain, trees, or the rest of the ruins however.

And since it's under a CC license you can do most ever what you want with her: Trace the picture, etc.

If you look through some of my 'biguana' pictures, there are some more desktop worthy stuff there.

I can always revisit this white wyvern now that I have more experience. though.

I've always loved wyverns. Dragons seem to be always occupied in their culture pride and nobility, drawing the spotlight. Whilst wyverns have been in the shadows, forced to advance and evolve, to defend themselves. Solitary because they are comparatively few in number.
Not appreciated or feared by most, they forge on concerned with their own story, no one else's.

This is just the way I feel about them, and your image seems to capture it perfectly. The lone wyvern standing firm; it has a purpose, the armour it has built around itself mentally as well as physically, the pose showing its unwavering resolve in the face of everything a world can throw;
"You don't have to love me, fear me or respect me in any way. But with vehemence, I will defend my right to exist!"

I'm not asking you to remake this, even though it would be a clear improvement. I am just explaining that this is most definitely one of my personal favourites. :)

Probably since it's from my early Carrara days and thus way back in the depths of my gallery. Few people visit that, and few ever did. Some of my first tests with 3D - like the dragon "cookout" and some renders for a forum game (Food Fiiiiiight!!! <--- Thread name) were from back then. A cat throwing pies at a dragon, and two dragons putting a dog in a catapult (Dogs are food to dragons bud. They're tossing him at rival dragons I wager.) That one in particular was done in response to another "dragon" on the forum who started tossing cats at me as her dragon 'avatar'.

Anyway. For one reason or another they hardly get any attention, and few people ever venture past the first page or so of my gallery, even on FA, so that's pretty much the reason why you haven't seen it.
