Happy B'day DevArt. Tbh, I'm only really doing this for the badge. (So this had better be how you get it).
  1. How long have you been on DeviantArt? Just over 10 years.

  2. What does your username mean? I saw someone using it when I was about 12 on a flash game website and stole it. I don't generally go by that any more. I'd change it, but I've never had the premium (core?) to do it with.

  3. Describe yourself in three words. I don't do self definition very well.

  4. Are you left or right handed? Right

  5. What was your first deviation? A terrible piece on MS paint depicting Darth Maul beheading yoda. (I was young and stupid, Maul wouldn't stand a chance against Yoda)

  6. What is your favourite type of art to create? Mostly digital art on photoshop, design work more than other kinds.

  7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be? Playing an instrument. (It's an art :D )

  8. What was your first favourite? Second part (only, for some reason...) of a short comic strip about LoZ:WW.

  9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most? Whatever takes my fancy, often fanart, but also pieces that wow me and things that make me chuckle.

  10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist? JohnSu, amazing sense of humour.

  11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be? I'm not a great fan of meeting people.

  12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? Not really.

  13. What are your preferred tools to create art? Photoshop, keyboard/mouse.

  14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? At my desk.

  15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory? Spotting one of my deviations on the first page of "newest deviations" when they tended to only be there for a few seconds.

And my goodness it has been years since I posted a journal... Since then I've moved out of home, become Christian, gotten married, moved house again, moved house AGAIN, and nearly finished uni... So not alot has happened.

So I decide to be a little less lazy than normal and fit some time between my Uni work, social life, and other internet responsibilities to scan in my sketches from last year. Whereupon I discover to my extreme displeasure, that canon is no longer supporting the model of scanner I use. It's old and slow, but it's small and I can move it to where my own computer is in this household and not worry about disturbing others or standing around waiting to scan half a million files to carry on a USB to my PC. I like convenience with a passion, and now it looks like I can either throw it in the wind or wait till we get a new scanner... Which will be a little bit after the sun implodes...

So for all those that got a brief glimmer of hope that I might post something soon, I'm dashing them now. Much like my chances at getting a decent job were raised and immediately abolished to my great annoyance...

While I'm at it, my light has blown and I'm stuck using a desk lamp to light my room for a few days till we can get a new fluro stick.

In other news some git at the store bought all my iced coffee.

In short:

So I get back from Japan after 10 months in December last year, and I'm still waiting on the large amount of stuff I had to send home, cause in it is the schoolbooks with many little sketches I need to post as 2010 sketchdump... Sigh.
Should take another month or so.
And it's hot in summer...

Whoa... when did this happen. I woke up this morning and found myself in Japan, and even more weird is that I then remember I:ve been waking up in Japan for the past week and a half ...
Then I remember that this is quite expected and I might:ve previously mentioned that I was heading off to Japan for the rest of the year.
Rather interesting place here I must say...
Onsen, look up what that is and imagine how scared I was, being a very private sort of person...
Anyway I can't be bothered writing anymore, the keyboard is slightly different and I keep making mistakes in my typing.

I have one, it's odd...
Also there's this whole skin thing that's going on...thought I'd try it out and see what happens.

Oh btw 4 exams down 1 to go :D Happy is me :D

Yeah that's about it...ooh wait, I'm going to Japan next year for 10 months ish...

Now that might be it...

Also now I'm 18 and can legally do all that shtuff I been doing for years...kidding.
I've been a boring teen :(
I got queen greatest hits platinum and it is good.

Well I be off tomorrow morning, in about 5.5 hours.
Off to America for the International Space Camp in Huntsville Alabama. I applied earlier this year, got accepted as one of the only 2 students from Australia. Many people thought it important for some reason...Either way I'm going tomorrow and I'm a little excited, and tired...cause i have very intelligently left something else to the last minute...
I am currently writing an application for a scholarship to go on an 11 month exchange program to Japan next year. I have to finish this before I go to America.:P A mighty organized fellow I am, eh?
Well anough of that, I'll be back on the 3rd of august, I might exclaim how awesome the trip was, or I might just leave it and not say anything, or I might die on the way over, while I'm there, or on the way back. :P

Farewell, if you hear back from me later I'm still alive, if you don't there's no guarantee I haven't died :P
  • Listening to: Music, lots of it

It's about time for one...

Let's see...ah
I seem to have achieved a place in the international space camp in America later this year. Apparently it's a big deal, I've had 4 newspapers, 2 department of education thingos, and a radio station interview me about it...But this is old news for those who actually know me, a couple of weeks old.

In other news school is interesting, Spec Math isn't so bad, but I do think that in general I've slipped a little this year, I have even less motivation to do assignments and such than I had last year. But this could just be because it's yr 12 and not because I've gotten lazier. Chem I'm not happy with...I have been paying close to no attention in lesson, not sure why but I really need to fix that. As it is I think I would fail the test on Enthalpy I have next week, so perhaps I'll look through what we've been doing this past week. :P I also feel I'm just not doing enough in Japanese either...

Also I'm getting into bad habits with my typing :P I keep typing teh instead of the...

Though I did successfully set up some genkouyoshi paper on word using a background image. now I just have to make sure I keep the right spacing of the Japanese characters and I'll have an easy time typing Japanese on the computer. :D

I deleted my save on dwarf fortress yesterday! I didn't realize till now. :( Seven ingame years it had been running for. :( now I have to start again...or start from the third year ingame. :P

Well if I think of anything else in the next few hours I'll amend this journal.

Yay, another year. I bet this one is gonna be just awesome! Apparently it started almost 2 weeks ago, but I didn't really notice and no one told me so...except that I went to a party and lost my voice. Then I didn't have my voice for the first week of the new year...
I shall be starting yr 12 this year, hopefully my last year of high school. I'm hoping to achieve straight 'A's at least once this year, though I think one of the best things that could happen to me is for me to fail one of my Mid-Year exams. I think I've been a little too confident and perhaps need to be brought down a step. Cause I'm sure some of my subjects shouldn't be as easy as it has been...

...Hmm I started typing this a few hours ago. I just saw that this tab of my internet explorer was still there and found this journal entry I hadn't finished. There was probably more I was gonna say, but I probably forgot that hours ago.

Ah it be holidays again. You'll find it does that... It sneaks up on you, wraps it's tentacles of happiness and glee around you till your blind with mirth. Then it rots and degrades into thin, but tight, tendrils of boredom. They never let go, though sometimes you can break free for a moment or two. But when you stop they get you again.

I should have a job now, but they don't need me yet..

I drew a picture today, I also scanned it and colored it. It now appears to be a nice finished piece of work, however, I probably won't post it. Everyone already thinks I'm weird enough...

It's a little early at the moment, but I have a feeling I wont journal in a while, so Merry Christmas to you all.

There was something else I was going to say...but I can't remember...

Did ya miss me?...No?...Oh well.

The Australian International Space School was, to put it mildly, rather awesome. Not everyday that you get to see a Zuni rocket launch faster than the speed of sound with a Ramjet engine strapped to the top.
I failed miserably at lawn boles, but managed to win us the game with my only good shot right at the end.
I discovered that I never want to play Wii Bowling again. It does horrible things to my RL game.
I have concluded that Len Beadell is an awesome guy.
And I mets some awesome peoples.

And I, unlike others...did get sunburnt...
And I, this time 'like' others, am also abusing the English language..3  sentences starting with 'and' in a row...

I need to work on my pianoing and juggling.
I like chocolate.
Always have a deck of cards or six on you at all times.

Thankyou, thankyou, and goodnight...evening...whatever...

I've been getting a little lax when it comes to deviant art lately. A little more than lately...for the past few months.
Last update to the journal was...7...months ago.
You may have noticed that I actually did stuff during that time, like some arty things.

Turns out I didn't fail all my mid-terms...however I did feel guilty about not studying one bit outside of school and still getting almost the highest in the class. Except English...don't like that one.

After long and weighty thoughts..."hey, do Spec Maths next year" "OK"...I have decided to do Specialist Maths next year. I keep getting told that I can't cruise through it...

I leave for AISS in a few weeks.

Just got an email yesterday telling me about my successful application to attend the Australian International Space School (AISS). It's kind of a follow on from the SASS, a similar event I attended last year.
Yay, excited now.

A new year again (it keeps on going, why wont it let up sometime?), and more school...
I'm in year 11 now, I should probably say something like less updates ass I will need more study, though I don't think anything will change till I fail all the mid term exams and decide that I probably should have said that.

I've coloured 3 of other peoples work, and they seem greatly popular compared to the pictures that are completely mine... I either need to get much better at drawing or just stick with colouring others work.

I had to leave my class in the middle of my English lesson, which has the 'scariest' and 'meanest' teacher in the school for the yr 8's, 9's and 10's, but he's cool with senior students.

There are apparently 2017 people that are jolly, I suppose this makes me the 2018th.

Yay for Christmas, which is a very important time of the year to do with something about birth of Christ, but mostly presents. :)
I got a bit of loot, but it was all good stuff.
I have X-mas picture for viewing!…

And how...
I haven't written in a bit, this'll probably be boring, so you could just close it now and ignore it.

Last week of school. Most people don't even come cause all that happens is some random 'activities'.
Hmm... looking at my journals, although joining in Nov 2004, my first Journal entry was Feb this year. It was talking about 100 pageviews. My last journal was 1000 pageviews.

I've given up on trying to get others to colour mine lineart. But thanks to the one that did.

I applied for the Australian International Space School (AISS) and hope to attend.

I find it fun watching social interactions of people.

I think I'm done talking about nothing.

Fancy that, I played a nasty trick on my brother to got another pageview and I didn't need to.
1000 is bigger than 500, though still depressingly small...
Yet I keep trying, and that is what distinguishes me from a goldfish...wait...they also keep looking for a way out of the tank...bugga, there is nothing to differentiate me from a goldfish.:(
I might as well jump into a fish tank and be called spotty from now on...
Amazing where statements can lead...

YAY one has been completed!

I Recently put up a forum post about and now have these people coloring it:
I have also now colored it myself. So that is viewable here…
