If any of you happen to be in Berlin from the 26th June to 30th Semptember, maybe visit SILENCE IS A LIE!
SIAL is an urban art exhibition with more than 130 international artists in the SEZ in Berlin-Friedrichshain. The SEZ was the "Sports and Recreational Center" of the former GDR, now a privately run complex including over 2000m² exhibition space. Organized by Alaniz and Alesa Mustar, partnered by Eric Maréchal, founder of Streetart without Borders.

Thanks everybody for the enormous support! 20k views and more than 1400 faves for the Mordskva painting! Lots of comments, the majority of them positive. I didn't mean to provoke anything but maybe a thought or chuckle. ;)
Passed the 50 "Likes" mark on my facebook page, too. Makes me think if I should switch that page to English...

My 6 year old daughter Ella opened an account on dA today. Page features a watercolour painting and her 2nd ever stencil. She did all drawing, cutting and spraypainting herself, even a little freehand and spittle involved! Check it out! :iconellajasmin:

It has been a week since I got a Daily Deviation on "Caffeine" and I wanted to thank everyone for far more views and favorites than I had ever expected!

I've had this idea for a painting for a long time but still need some ingredients, mainly a full body photo of a Justitia figure. Lady Justice could be modelled, could be a statue or whatever as long as she is blindfolded and holds sword and scale.
If anyone can help me out there please drop me a line.

Uploaded 3 work related pictures. The 2 photos aren't the most spectacular things and not very artsy either. Maybe something like "applied prettiness". Still I felt like I should submit them to a non-psychiatric audience.
I like these things because they brighten up my work environment. The duty roster is actually making my life easier. The star is just another t-shirt design, mildly amusing to me and some of the people I work with.

November, meh. Got me a nasty cold last weekend, 3 pounds of coloured clay in my head. There is one commissioned picture in the making at the moment, not making much progress.
Gabriel is up on the wall and I finally took a halfway decent photo of it so that chapter can be closed.
May do a first exhibition together with a sculptor friend in the last week of the year. Now if only I had more time besides work...

It is done. Gabriel is ready for the wall. I am not 100% happy with it as I still produced a bunch of flaws. The glue messed with the blue and the wind gave me a hard time, too. Damn you autumn. I need a place to be able to spray inside, some sort of atelier.
I hope to be able to weed out the spottinesses with the new cans and caps I ordered.
Anyhoo, the result is not too bad and it will probably look pretty nice on the wall.

I haven't been able to avoid spots in larger monocoloured areas so far. Just ordered a bunch of new cans and caps. Let's hope I am able to work a little cleanlier with that material.

Gabriel will take a long time. First layer on each of the side parts is done. Not much progress on the center piece so far. Am I: intimidated? Possibly.

Can't help it, I need to finish pictures, so I did and will do more small ones with only one to three layers. The kids at work take more interest in my stuff these days so the small ones serve as demo pieces for them. They watch and do their own portraits meanwhile. That also means these small ones have to be done rather quickly, lest I lose their interest.
Getting 10 to 12 year old ADD kiddos to work with scalpels and spray cans without hurting anyone is something. I guess.

After spending monday to friday at Harry's Farm I simply had to postpone the Gabriel project and do his portrait before anything else.
Thanks much for the beautiful days, even though you will never read this.

2 weeks off are about to end. At least I've been productive. Finished the first commissioned picture and had time to toy around with other works: Pink 2 is done. I applied a first single layer in public space (and messed it up forgetting to cover the rest of the sign) and just finished the Mohawk piece. I'm rather happy with the results.
Next I will try and repeat Gabriel in big. The 1st run was 30x88, the 2nd will be 70x200cm.

I am not much of a P!nk fan. My wife is. The photo however is awesome. Awesome enough to have it hanging on a wall for a few years now. Now I can replace it with the bigger picture.
Took about a week to finish it. I am happy with the overall outcome, despite several flaws. But as on all pictures: I see them first.
Next: the other Bryan Adams photo of Ms Pink.

So I am spraying the 3rd colour test of the same stencil set. Not so much for cutting or spraying but simply to see if the colours match. Preferably with a red wall. That piece is a small copy of what is going to become a 70x100cm commission work for a wedding. Not so sure if less might actually be more and I should leave it at fewer than 8 layers + background.
