He stomps in, beaten red in the face, and holds himself up in his room. His aunt, startled by his sudden appearance and attitude, gets off her computer and rushes to his room. His door is shut but she can hear him sobbing on the other side.
“Link? What happened?”
He tries to wipe away his tears and fixes if voice, “I-I…got kicked out.”
“Kicked out? How?!” his aunt was taken aback.
He continues to clear his throat, wanting to stop crying. However, he couldn’t bear to tell her why. She opens the door to find him sitting next to his bed, his face still flowing tears, “Link…” She walks in and sits on the bed, next to him. She begins to stroke his head and brush her fingers threw his hair. “Kicked out huh? I’m sorry. You’ve been looking so forward to join the guard. Did you at least leave a few bruises on him?” She grabs his chin and forces him to look at her. She softly sighs when she sees that he has
