She can hear paw steps but she couldn't see who is coming to her. She turns to see Swiftkit, fully grown, running away from the moor that she calls home.
"She holds her destiny in her own paws."
Hawkfeather wakes in a rush. It takes a moment for the dawn light to break through her clouded eyes. She looks to the other side of her den to see Swiftkit still asleep.
Is StarClan unable to see her future?
"...And I welcome you as apprentices of WindClan!"
The clan cheers for the new apprentices. However, Swiftpaw can only hear Hawkfeather cheer her name. She glances over to see the newly named warrior, Smokepelt. He had a prideful glare in his eyes. Soon, that will be me. The clan breaks off to continue with their morning ch

Quiet Legends - Chapter 1The sun shines warmly overhead with few clouds dotting the sky. The grasses sway in the soft breeze. Birds sing as they take flight. Cows call in the distance. A farmer’s village bursts in activity. Traders sell their potions and pelts. Butchers pitch their fine meat. Farmers display their freshly picked crops. The tavern is busy with tired travelers and farmers. Behind the building rests a ranger with a silver wolf next to him. The clothes he wears are almost fine, too nice for a wanderer. He bears only a scimitar, a black wooden shield, and a bow with quiver. His white hair shifts as a breeze passes over, revealing his ears which bear a slight point. He is awoken by loud chatter from the other side of the tavern. He groans as he sits up and stretches his back and arms. He orders his companion to stay before he walks to the street. A crowd stands before the steps of the tavern. A man is inside, trying to find adventurers who could fight. The tired ranger was about to leave
Quiet Legends - ProloguePrologue
The night sky shines clear over an old musky swamp. The songs of frogs, crickets, and night birds echo off the trees. Lit torches glow just outside of a small village. The village is home to the Stellieta Tribe, a clan of lizard-folk, and they have a priceless captive: a human girl. In one of the warrior tents, she struggles to get free. Two beams of wood stuck into the ground hold her tied arms and her ankles are tied together while gaged. When she believes that she’ll never be free, she hears a soft hiss. She immediately looks up and sees a large boa with very distinct violet eyes that softly glow. She felt lost but comforted within the gaze. She snapped from the gaze when the boa approaches her and she begins to panic. She heard of many large creatures that lived in the swamp besides the lizard-folk that will not hesitate to kill a human. She fears that the lizard-folk must have sent the boa to kill her. She watches the boa climb the right beam. She braces for the sha
