Alright. Hrm. Hi. Long time no see.
I'm not dead!
I've just been busy and hasn't really had anything to say. But it's been half a year since I last updated my journals now, so I better get off my ass and say hi to all of you again
So what's new with me
you ask? Well, I quit college, moved back home with my parents, got a job (two actually. Well, two part-time jobs) so that I can save up for what I hope will be my education, bought a bike, broke my laptop screen and... lots of other dull, homey stuff.
I used to study Science of Religion at the university, but in the end I had to admit to myself that it truly wasn't for me. Even if my art sucks I want to do something different, something creative instead of burying my head in books all day. My attention-span when it comes to reading scientific text is practically nonexistant. (That actually surprised me a bit
Which is why I'll be starting at a 3D animation and digital art education (well, the basic course) come March and I sincerely hope to whatever deity there be that I don't suck at it. 'cause then I'd need to figure out what to do with my life. Again.
And this is of course all good and well, and that's why I'm currently staying with my awesome parents and flip burgers at the nearest fastfood restaurant and take care of elderly people. Wohooooo.
So why did I break my computerscreen? Because I'm a moron and dropped my $2000 Macbook Pro from a bike. The screen now looks like this:
And I use this computer for art, it's horrible having so little space to work on
Hopefully I'll be able to buy a new one soon. Otherwise I'll just suffer for a while longer.
I haven't been uploading much because I've ventured into the land that is traditional art after I broke my screen. *gasp* I rather like it here, apart from materials being expensive and needing to blend colours myself (I've never appreciated the Photoshop eyedropper tool this much before). Oh and I can't make any vibrant colours with my acrylics because they're too muddy and of poor quality
Okay! I've been rambling enough. Cheers everyone!
