My first artwork for 2008. Digital Painting/Airbrushing using Photoshop CS. Completion time over a span of 2 weeks. Portrait reference used from my own photography work of model, Natasha.

I decided to make her look magical like a fantasy character. She has really beautiful features that goes well. The background was originally a warm sunset color, but I decided that it looks better (with a more fantasy feel) in a bluish background.

With the available tutorials and viewing work of great artists, I felt I've made a huge improvement. Thanks everyone for the support.

very nice. I like the sword. The hair is neat too. But the shine on the top of her head looks weird. But still, very nice.
