After George Barbier's La guirlande des mois

Something that will be fun to color, I think!

Ooh nice! I love the sheer mass of Jane's ball gown.

I'd like to see this painted.

…i wonder what color Jane's wearing... ¦^>

Thanks!  I wanted to copy the nice shapes in the original.  (I couldn't help but think, "This isn't real life- this is like Horatio's fantasy or something" while I drew it though, ha ha)

Don't think I'm going to 'paint' paint it, but it'll definitely get colored.

Haven't decided yet.

It's a bit *too* idealized maybe. ^^; Although that's a boon too if you want to give it a more dreamy atmosphere...

(haha, I only said paint because I didn't want to say color, followed by saying color again. XD; It sounded too clunky IMHO)

Well, Barbier was a fashion illustrator and he definitely had an Art Deco sort of thing going on in a lot of his work...  I liked it pretty well as is, so of course I wanted to copy it mostly straight.  <- Thus, I can't say I had any deep thoughts either way.

(I see.  But I had to respond as I did for clarity's sake.)
