Hehe, the coat and goggle combos make me think Last Exile for sure~

:XD: TFW you've created characters that Rule 63 leaves about the same. When the Deviation/Art/Upload is Just Right (icon)

63'd Grimbault/Sazka is charming though? :B

Eh, just says 'pilots' in general to me...
...but the rule 63 stuff was definitely provoked by watching Fam and thinking about what a large percentage of the main cast was female.

Well, there are always all sorts of versions you can do of any given character, but the simplest version with them here doesn't take much!
yeah, 63'd Grimbault/Sazka is really doing it for me, I've gotta say?? XD;

Katzenkopple is just  ¯ > ¯ through and through. :aww:

Haha, well regardless of gender sometimes the archetype/interaction shines through~

ha ha ha ha ha, yes, their innate personalities are the same whatever other way I want to switch them up.

Sazka and Horatio were funny to draw that way because I saw no reason not to give them their same pre-war hairstyles... just the hairstyle regulations in the Dunnish military are such that they wouldn't have to cut them then. XD;

Their given personalities are the #1 reason any characters like each other (in any fashion) in my stories, so no sex or gender swap would alter that.  Just...sometimes it comes off differently to me in different configurations.  That's kind of what I tend to think about when I draw these sorts of things- 'what about this, what about that'...it can create future ideas

Well there you go. Same sort of interactions, but with nicer hair~ :XD: :heart:

By the way, the dream you describe up there feels very familiar (the whole flashing back to college + the sensation of pushing through a cramped space) I'm pretty sure I have the flashback one every other month. :P

Ha ha ha, so true

That's strange.  I don't dream about school very frequently at all anymore, but the weirdly tight elevator was an element I can't ever remember dreaming about before (that's the part that really stood out to me).

Hmm. I think the subconscious has a funny way of taking surrounding stimuli and attempting to justify it via the dream state; so like the feeling of the tight elevator could just be the sensation of your blanket pressing on you.

My favorite example is when I once fell asleep with the ceiling light pn, so I ended having a dream where a mob of raccoons showed up in my backyard and one of them shined a bright flashlight in my face. :XD:
