another go with the flapper-ish clothes (I think these two would consider this a “Stateside” kind of style)

Very pretty! I think Jane shines like the sun with her lovely smile and yellow dress. She reminds me of a sunflower for some reason. Persy looks divine in her cool green dress and I love her feathered hairpiece. Also, her smiling face is so pretty! You did a wonderful job!

Thank you very much!  Jane definitely likes sunflowers, so I'm sure she'd be glad to be compared to one.  Persy is maybe a little more 'modern'/fashion forward for her time?  It was fun to draw both of them like this. :D

You are super welcome! Your characters are always lovely and I love it when you do different fashions. :D

(Stateside, you say...)

Really nice ensemble. What else can I say? Really shifts the mood (perhaps to a familiar place in your previous writing)

Persy taking a cue from Jane's fashion sense and donning color-coordinated stockings as well? Did that just happen? ;P

(Well, I just have a feeling that's how they'd think of it because that's who's popularized it)

Thanks.  Yeah, I agree about the mood switch!  It's kind of strange/interesting that way.  It made me wonder when this would be (/how much older I should really have drawn them, ha ha).  (makes me wonder how H.C. looks.  He's so much more...set in his style, I feel) (and, yeah, it does make it feel more like the time and place I 'know' via the prior story)
I'd like to draw them wearing these outfits again, but in something drawn 'by hand'/with a traditional pen/pencil- an actual scene might be nice.

Maybe it is a cue from Jane with them being color-coordinated?  But since I've drawn a lot of pictures of Vivianne and Miss Di with stockings on, I figure it's part of the look.  I still feel so far away from interaction between Jane and Persy...it's hard to know how they'll respond to one another...

I'm still thinking in the back of my mind the when + how of my characters getting in on the 20s look. :XD:; Suffice to say, none participating shall be spared or 'set in their ways'~ ♫

A traditional version might be neat indeed..

Hehe. Only thing missing is hitting up the Old World equivalent of a speakeasy (I guess Persy ought to be a bit older...) :P

Well, however you manage it, I know it'll be fun and cool!  And I wouldn't want it any other way from you! (I like that none spared attitude, is what I mean! ha ha)

I tend to like my traditionally drawn lines better, so I feel like the drawing half of it, at least, might be better that way...

Heh heh, I think Horatio knows some neat places! (since there's no need to be on the wrong side of the law for it over there)  (ha ha, well, if she's there with the captain, probably so)

( ;P )

I bet Horatio would know even more places, after his time with Twelfth Company members...
