July 6 panel - Belle Starr looks so rugged and dashing in that getup!

July 7 panel + July 8 panel - pretty clever arrangment; Kimblee is a natural fit for minimalistic compositions~

July 9 panel - one of the happier days at the orphanage, huh

July 10 panel - ah yes, I suppose they would have been alive together to see her stepson..

July 11 panel - nice!! I don't care if this is just a copy, it's a REALLY GOOD COPY.

July 12 panel - so many gamepieces ... drifting away, Adagio, drifting far away...

7/6 - I always imagine her wearing really cool clothes!

7/7 - 7/8 - I would've had to draw him so tiny to fit this sort of composition into one panel, so I decided to sort of double up.  Yes, for me, if it's minimalism, it's almost certainly got to be with Kimblee~

7/9 - I kind of want to say that it's some sort of winter holiday and everyone got a new (well, new to them, but probably second-hand) coat?  So of course everyone will smile for this picture.  There had to have been some good days.

7/10 - Yeah, August met both of them, but of course he ended up having more time to be acquainted with Bruno  (A & A were probably at this wedding too)

7/11 - I wasn't trying hard enough so I messed up the hands a bit and then I could also have been more meticulous with the coloring, but I was getting bored.  I like the photo though (it was one of my cosplay in Osaka ones).  My mom was sorting pictures and she saw and suggested both of the photo selections referred to on this page.

7/12 - clouds, I suppose.  I really liked the colors!  Also, I think I haven't draw Mic in this book nearly in proportion to how much I like him......

Hands are just tricky to draw, no matter what. ^^; There's a lot of proportions that need to be ~just~ right or it'll look "off".

I haven't drawn Mic nearly enough either; I think it's because I've mostly only drawn him behind the wheel so I'm only bothering to draw his upper half. :XD:;

Yes, I know.  And I knew there'd be some kind of trouble the moment I was drawing even semi-photo-realistic.

Ha ha (Mic says: Full body- c'mon!  Draw me dancing!)

I would prefer not to consider it practice one bit - it's a finished product; it just is what it is.

(i-is that funny??  It just seemed to make sense as a situation where you might want to draw more of him (Mic wouldn't be picky?  he likes attention) )

I meant it's practice for your own overall skill level. I've been following your art for 6 years now and I can see how you've improved, simply out of consistently putting in the hours.. :)

(I think it has to do with what images it conjures up for me...) ^~;

Hmm.  Just, I suppose, having it said about something more realistic doesn't do it for me since that's never been what I've wanted to do.  (as someone with very low aspirations, I suppose my upward trajectory will always be slow?  but I draw because I like drawing, not because I want to be 'good' at it)

(ha ha, now I'm really wondering (add that to the endless list of things I want to see you draw?! XD; ))
