Fallen Leaves | Mesic CV
Mesic stood at the entrance to a forest, looking back out at the fields he was leaving behind him for the coming autumn. The past summer had flown past faster than he thought was even possible. And the whole time he had been alone. He didn’t mind the quiet usually, however, a part of him did wish that he could have spent it with another. He had not managed to sway a single mare.. He hardly even ran into any herds. The dark stallion let out a heavy sigh as he thought back on his lonely summer. Stars.. What would his father say about him knowing this? He raised him to be a great herd lead.. But he had mostly taught brawn. And over the time he did spend with his father, not much of it was on wooing mares. Not that the black stallion hadn’t tried of course. Yet the only mare he had come across didn’t even seem the slightest bit interested in joining him. Mesic slowly tore his gaze from the golden fields behind him and began to wander into the forest before him. The wind blew gently

The Stargazers - Chapter 1
Chapter 1 ~~~~~~~~~~~ Thrylos The sun was gentle and warm as it rose above the tall trees stretching over a small clearing. A soft breeze blew through the leaves which greeted it with a welcoming hiss. The lush green grass below danced in the warm sunlight, twirling with the flowers that dotted the clearing. In the shade of a large boulder on the very edge of a floon clan’s territory, a sound is heard. Soft calls into the warm summer air as a small floon broke out of it’s egg, their muzzle raised up as they called for a mother..or father. A large female floon trotted into the den in a hurry, her equine face gazing down upon her newborn baby. “Oh..why hello there, little one.” she cooed sweetly and gently licked his cheek, nuzzling her pup gently, “Welcome to your new world, Thrylos.” The small pup tilted his head, snorting softly at her licking his face. He wasn’t very appreciative of the sudden grooming. He tossed his head away gently and yipped softly in defiance before he

Hatch Day Beach Day - WTA Entry
Dear Diary, Hello Diary!! It’s been a minute since the last time we talked. Well, it’s actually only been about… a day. But it feels like it’s been ages! My hatch day just passed yesterday and guess what!? I went to a beach! But not just any beach, no. I went to the Tellstar Islands!! That’s right! The beaches there! I had never been there before, but I finally gathered up enough courage to swim from my home in The Comet Sea to go there! And I had so much fun! There were pretty flowers that they placed around my neck, and beautiful seashells. I never wanted to leave! But sadly, of course I had to go.. I didn’t want you to miss me. After all, you’re kind of my best friend. You know a lot more than anyone else has. Anyways.,. So where do I start? Oh! I know! Well.. first I went exploring around the islands of course! I had never been there after all. I even saw some other Tsurex..which I haven’t really seen in a while.. Most tend to avoid me. I think I’m a bit too hyper hehe!

The black stallion had been traveling for a few days now. There hadn't been much activity in the area he had traveled through. He had a run in with a dog at some point when traveling near an old farm yet he was careful not to draw attention to himself and ducked behind some trees. Mesic had been searching for any other sign of horses for a while now but it hadn't been fruitful. Any tracks he found were old.. maybe days or so before he found them. A heavy huff left the young stallions body as he lifted his head up high. Something off in the distance had caught his attention now. What was that? He squinted slightly and sniffed another huff of air. Water.. the glinting in the distance was water. The black stallion quickly sprung into action and galloped across the field with vigor. As he drew closer and closer he could very well make it out to be a lake. The lone stallion slowed down to a trot before stopping at the water's edge. He took a quick

An Unlucky Day (Okari/CV)
WARNING!!: Foul Language & Birth Suggestion. It had been a little over a month after Sífa and the two colts had joined Okari's herd from the lake. The colts were getting along just fine with the other foals, somewhat, at least. The lead stallion, Okari, had been keeping an eye on one of the colts in particular, Kashka. He was a yearling after all and he had been getting a bit ballsy, flirting with some of the adult mares and his patience with him was starting to wear thin the more often he did it. He had half a mind to chase him out of the herd but he knew that Sífa may leave if he did that to him. Besides, Kashka was like a brother to Miska and helped him get more confident as time passed. The older stallion lifted his head up to the sky and sniffed the cold winter air. They had left the cave a few weeks ago and were down in the valley away from the mountains. Mostly because another landslide had happened and one of the foals nearly got hit by it

Autumn Magic (Okari/CV)
The rain had started to lighten up and had nearly stopped. Most of the mares of Okari's rather large herd were huddled up together to stay warm against the cold of autumn. He himself would continuously scan the lining of the trees from the field his herd was standing in. He was sure that the gift would show up soon..his prize from that mare. Where was she? She hadn't shown up to give it to him anyways. He was beginning to feel like she wasn't going to show up. "Okari!" a smooth voice called out to him, masculine in nature. Levashi..the damn flirtiest stallion he ever let into the herd. The grey on bay dun roan stallion turned his head towards his liutenant approaching him. "What is it Levashi?" he spoke calmly, an ear flicking. "I found a mare in the woods.. she's..an old friend of mine. I saw her in another herd once when we were foals. She was my playmate." The sooty bay mismarked blanket appaloosa spoke up with excitement, rearing a

The Gift of a Flower (Okari/CV)
“You have done well. Few are as creative as you are. You have proven yourself more than capable. Iefan has chosen well.” With that, they offered Okari a purple-blue bloom that almost seems to sparkle in the light. “Return to Iefan, and be safe on your future adventures.” Okari looked down at the flower and gently took it into his mouth and nodded, carrying it with him. He sniffed into the wind and continued up the mountainside, grunting softly as he went. He eventually made it to flat ground and snorted as he saw a sooty bay mismarked blanket appaloosa standing beside Dondi. She was one of his mares..his. He neighed at him loudly in challenge, pawing the ground as he approached him. Levashi looked over to Okari and froze slightly, looking to Dondi before his gaze flicked back to Okari. "Hello..old friend." the younger stallion spoke, an ear flicking. At this the grey on bay dun roan stallion paused, his ears flicking forward. He recognized that

CV Fall Event | The Tournament
The first of the leaves are starting to fall. The days are growing shorter and the oppressive summer heat is beginning to give away to cooler autumn air. On the first chilly night of the season, you find yourself all alone… but not for long. Nearby rustling catches your ear, and you turn your attention that way. Before you, a simple pearl mare lingers just at the edge of some dense woods. She looks nervous, uncertain, as if something - or someone- might jump out at her at any moment. Her curly locks cascade over her face as she turns back, looking behind her. You follow her gaze and spot a small filly. The filly steps out into the pale moonlight. Her coat is as red as blood, with paint markings as white as bone. She radiates an aura unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before. Her blue eyes twinkle in the autumn evening. The mare explains that she and her filly are looking for a herd. Not just any herd will do, though. She is looking for someone strong- strong enough to protect
The sun was at its peak by now. It had to have been noon. The herd was grazing peacefully in the valley, the leaves in the trees had turned orange and some where naked while the others still clung to their leaves. Eaglefeather was a yearling by now, his mane was turning and laid against his neck, his tail swishing at his hocks by now. The older colt snorted and trotted to the edges of the herd, looking out over the grass and fields, alert for any sort of dangers. Not too far away from him stood the larger grey on bay dun roan stallion that was viewed as the leader of this particular herd. He rose his head from grazing to look at him, an ear flicking back then forward again. “What are you looking for, Eaglefeather?” The sudden question from the stallion caused the chestnut tovero sabino colt to jolt and whinney in surprise. He danced away a bit before whirling around to face the older stallion. Seeing that it was Okari he relaxed and stood straight, looking him in the eyes with his
