At the time of the release Super Street Fighter IV, it was a long time coming to have a Tae Kwon Do fighter made an appearance in a Street Fighter game. It's also about time an "evil" Tae Kwon Do fighter entered the fighting game universe... because every single TKD character I can think of is a "good guy" (which is usually typical for a TKD practitioner in real life).


In her debut in SSF4, Juri introduced a dynamic and original 2D fighting style that fit into the SF series exceptionally well. Although some would say her default outfit is somewhat odd, it's definitely original in the fighting game realm. If you ask me, I'd say Juri is a well balanced mix of "cool" and "sexy". I like her visual design a lot, and her fighting style is badass as well. On a side note: Juri shares a slight resemblance to Rita Repulsa from Power Rangers, and even somewhat, Jolyne Cujoh from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. And yes, the bottom left corner pic is real. LOL
