My inking process for the art print I made for SacAnime (for anyone who missed it—I will be a guest there this Jan 3-4 www.sacconventions.com/ ).  Sketched with Pilot light blue 0.7 mechanical pencil on B4 Deleter paper, then inked with Pentel pocket brush and Copic multiliners size .003 and .01

Excuse me while I fangasm.

I have the most ridiculous thing for lines. My hands aren't very steady, so my lines are always sort of shaky. Smooth, flowy lines are my weakness~

I have those same copic multiliners, but I suck at inking. Getting better, though. :D Lovely work, Sensei!

XD I don't think it counts as fan art if it's by the original artist...

You are an amazing artist, I have all your books. Does the illustrations take much to do? I try each time but I don't seem to have the patience which is a shame. Again you are amazing, have a nice day : )

I can't ink traditionally, it always bleeds and that looks terrible.

It could be your paper?  I really like this brand, it handles all sorts of ink very well and is very affordable: www.dickblick.com/products/bor…

That looks like a very neat paper. It lists itself as an alternative to bristol board. How would you say it compares to bristol? Does it hold up well to ink washes, for example, if you don't mind answering my question. I know you're quite busy. :-)

I'm german. We use the metric system, I only draw on DIN A4 80g or 100g. Don't know what a yds or ib is, but thank you very much. xD
