• DIANA I.:
Roman Parian marble statue of the goddess Diana [the counterpart to the Greek Artemis].
Dated to the beginning of the 2nd century AD.
It is believed this statue was acquired by Federico II Gonzaga [1500–1540], Duke of Mantua, for his antiquities collection at the Palazzo Ducale.
