Update: I won 1st place!

0 min read
I'm insanely happy to share that I won first place in the juried art show at my favorite gallery, The Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas, Tx. They are absolutely incredible. Nice, inspiring, encouraging. I can't say enough about them! I've spent years doing commission work of portraits and have just stepped out of my comfort zone (aka grew some testes lol) to risk having my work judged by well known and established artists that I deeply respect. Both of my entry paintings sold within 3 days before the show even opened! But to get 1st place? I was so sure it wasn't even a possibility. The 73 works in the gallery show are so so amazing and stunning.

My goodness, it's been, what? two or three years? Sorry DA. I've been busy between work and painting that I haven't posted in a while. So I have a goal to work towards. I want to become a professional wildlife artist. I'm still rough around the edges but I'm working on improving and getting my name out there. Recently, I was accepted into a juried art show at The Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas, TX. Two of my paintings were accepted: (resource credit goes to ) (resource credit goes to ) The results of the competition will be out on May 20th. I am not expecting to win at all, but what I am extremely happy about is getting my foot into the d

your paintings are gorgeous! < 3 Thank you for watching me :D
Happy Birthday to you! Hope you're doing well and got to enjoy your day to the fullest. Wishing you all the best and many, many more! :cake:
Hello Suzanne!

I've been browsing lately and saw your artstyle, I like it and would be interested if you took commission still.

should it be yes or no, i'm looking forward to see new things from you.
Hello.

My apologies as I don't frequent DA as much as I used to.

I am open for commissions after mid-February. I am currently booked through the end of the year in addition to working on a large piece for a major wildlife art competition in London.

Did you have a preference in media? I work primarily in oils, pastels, colored pencils, graphite, charcoal, and digital. Pricing varies depending on the media and size.

I tend to be more up to date on my Instagram account suzannemoseley.fineart.

I appreciate you interest! Also, I have a new digital portrait I'm about to post if you'd like a sample of my current level in digital. My oils have won Best in Shows in 2 competitions this year, I include certificate of authenticity, and provide a lifetime guarantee on minor repairs and varnishing.

Have a wonderful day!
