Honestly, I should have finished this a long time ago.

Last Summer, I watched Lupin the IIIrd: Zenigata and the Two Lupins, the fourth movie in Takeshi Koike's pentalogy of movies based on Kazuhito Kato's (A.K.A. Monkey Punch's) manga "Lupin III" (or ルパン三世).

I had already loved Koike's previous three movies in the ongoing plot, including his unconnected spin-off show he also made for Lupin III, "The Woman Called Fujiko Mine". This movie may not have been my favorite out of all of them but I still certainty loved it and its darker take on a preestablished story. The main point of interest being the character I've drawn here.

This is Fake Lupin, the main antagonist of this movie.

Without going into spoilers, his character and mystery around him was really enthralling to watch and is definitely the standout in every scene.

If you'd like to check out this movie (pretentious of me to say), then you should definitely see all of Koike's previous Lupin The IIIrd movies since they're all connected and lead up to the finale. However, Koike's version of Lupin III is quite dark and mature, including themes such as sexual content, nudity, gore and violence.

I had finished most of this months ago; All I had to do was draw the flames.
But, I got put off from drawing it and just kind of... moved on.

Last week, I finally put in the finishing touches and I'm posting it now. This was all over the place.

I'm pretty happy with how it came out; I love being able to draw more humans, especially doing more Lupin III fan art. Though, I'm not completely sold on the art style; I tried something new but it's a bit too cartoonish compared to my older art style but I know how I want to change moving forward.
