A monument has been erected in Madrid in memory of the nine civilian activists,
killed during a May 31 raid by Israeli naval forces on a Gaza-bound flotilla.

The monument is in the Leganes district
created upon the initiative of three Spanish activists who were aboard the Mavi Marmara.
