This piece is based off of Gershin's "Rhapsody in Blue".

It's a gorgeous composition, full of life, spirit, and feeling. Making this to match was certainly a challenge, as the song is fifteen minutes long, has several motifs, and is a jazz-classical mix that you don't hear every day. I finished with a 16-colour palette and had to shave it down to match the challenge rules. I may try and draw this composition again. I feel like I did not quite capture all of it in the canvas, though I am happy with what I have so far!

I love music and art pairing! The colours are really nice too, but I think you're right about the pallet-- it may need a few more colours to make a POP.
Maybe some more orange and darker blues?
On the other hand, POPping doesn't always need to happen, and now that I keep looking at it, I'm beginning to love how subtle everything is despite it not being fully complete.
