Aozora's Adventure Logo Remake

Well well, long time no see, everyone. To think of just how much this site has changed since I first joined in 2009, thirteen years ago. It's been filled with lots of memorable moments, good and bad, and I've made many friends on this site and followed so many talented creators in the first few years as well. Sadly a lot of them have since long left DeviantArt or gone into radio silence, sometimes terminating their own accounts in the process, and with the new Eclipse design it doesn't feel the same as it once did, yet through how much this site has changed and people coming and going, I never let go of my passion project, the one and only Aozora's Adventure.

Born out of a desire to make something more original and aimed at a slightly older audience than Super Justin, I created Aozora, a Japanese teenager in high school, and set him off to go on adventures and meet new people as he matured and entered adulthood. Originally it was called Aozora Jitsuwa, then in 2010 following a small back and forth with another buddy of mine, I renamed the project Aozora's Adventure, which had stuck for the rest of the 2010's and into the 2020's. Since then the roster has expanded and I had to do a large cleaning-up following the big hard drive crash my Macintosh experienced late in 2020.

Anyways, the logo. To the left is the original logo from 2016, and to the right is the new logo from 2022. With this new design I went for something more stylized with a greater 3D feel compared to the original and the two-tone design would open up the logo to more variable designs should it be used in future art and projects.

So why am I posting this? Well... let's just say I began some art late last summer for some new character art of Aozora and three other characters close to him- two that I haven't drawn since 2014 and brand new art of a friendly rival of his) and while I've been teasing their progress on my Twitter and other social media I wanted to surprise everyone with the final renders sometime closer to my anniversary of joining DeviantArt on the 27th of March 2009, as awkward as celebrating your 13th DeviantArt Anniversary sounds. I also wanted to take extra attention to the backgrounds and other details besides the character, and that includes fixing up the logo to make it something more modern and polished.
