this is the time of the Miyazaki's masterpiece My neighbor Totoro!



I really love Miyazaki creations, they have been inspiring me since when I was a child (especially Heidi, Lupin, Conan! ) and the movies are really very beautiful, but I believe you already know this!

Once I remember that I read an interview of Miyamoto, where he said he is a friend of Miyazaki. They asked him if they have thought to make a movie together with Miayamoto's characters, but he said that Miyazaki doesn't like so much video games and/or that he prefears to create stuff by his own.
Shame!
So I have tried to draw my own version of this: take it as a tribute both for Miyazaki and Miyamoto's work. I think they should work together, but I guess it's too late for this (they both are thinking to end with their careers soon).
This scene can be also a viewed as an alternative plot for a new Mario game: I think it would make sense! XD
