As Paul and Beatrice continue to argue over if Paul is acting like his dad's dad toward their second son Duncan, Paul then starts having flashbacks to an ugly videochat that he had with his dad Peter regarding how Paul's kids need to be raised upon in which Paul would accuse his dad of continuing to live a stubborn lifestyle that Peter developed since switching career paths from being a happy-go-lucky sailor to a real estate developer. Peter demands to Paul that not only Phil give up his ambitions to be a scientific mechanical engineer, but that he fears that Duncan has been lacking structure throughout his life which Paul again accuses his dad of trying to control the lives of him and his kids!
