As Paul is wondering where Duncan has been since Beatrice's birthday dinner, Duncan has been holed up in his room for 2 hours doing those triple homework assignments that he was given earlier in the day. As Duncan can overhear his dad talking with the rest of the family about how he was like how Duncan is now at his age by being an anti-social loner and always sacrificing his fun for priority items, Duncan would reflect on how much he loves having his fun as well only to have to miss out on his mom's birthday celebrations to get his homework done and wonders if he's already making the quick ascent to manhood and adulthood in getting too much overbearing loads of work at only 15 years old and beyond his superhero duties as Green Lantern!
