In other news, I (by a very lucky turn of events) ended up being able to go to CHIKARA's No Compromise iPPV in Philly a few weeks ago (which was my first live show of theirs in addition to it being their last. How inconvenient), and while there are LOADS of things I could say about how all of that was handled, how the fans have reacted, and how I feel about it, it is neither the place or the time.
The important thing here is that I finally drew Kobald after seeing him two or three times at the Wrestling is Art shows and it is at the very, very top of my favorite pieces list, tied with only This lovely guy over here. Kobald is super great and enjoys poptarts, goat fetuses, and terrorizing children, and if that isn't enough to make you love him, you're wrong. As always, if you get the chance to check him out (he's part of the Batiri, for those who don't know), do so.

KOBALD! His pose has got to be one of my favorite ever; it looks like he’s terrorizing a child off frame! The colors are great, as are all the details on his attire, even the logo on his chest piece. I can see how difficult that could be because of the angle, but it’s definitely perfect. I also love his mask and the earring looks awesome. And cool backgrounds are cool, bro.
