So I'm thinking about getting a new camera. I've been wanting to learn a little more about photography. AND since we have a friend coming over from London in the new year I thought what better opportunity to get it a bit cheaper through Duty Free :boogie:.

I'm thinking a Canon EOS 350. It's going to cost a small fortune but I think in the end it will be worth it :D So if all goes well, you may see an improvement in my stock ;) Well, let's hope so anyway

:new: So I finally took a trip to the camera store yesterday and am now confused. The guy in the store didn't have a Canon 350 in stock. They only had the 400  However, he did show me the Pentax K10, which is just as whizz-bang as the Canon. So now I can't decide.  I like the idea that the Pentax's lenses are interchangeable between models. He also pushed the fact that the Pentax's lense had a dust remover AND had a movement stabilizer (or something along those lines ). I think the Pentax was minimally cheaper, but had the better lense. *sigh* Anyone out there who can help me decide?

:D Thanks for that. I must say that I am leaning towards the Pentax. Now all I have to do is save up some money! :eyepopping:
