Description

This is my first "comic" I've drawn.

Edit: I think I fixed part of the problem My heavy shading was biting me in the aft again. At least I can just adjust the level of transparency for that to help fix it.

I am posting this now, but I would like some input/suggestions on how to make the larger faces look better. I am not happy at all with the shading I did. It is kind of funny that the smaller the area for me to work with the better the job I can do. But I used to paint miniatures all the time so it's more natural for me. These larger faces, admittedly can be better, particularly around the lips. It's the lips that really tick me off.

I kept this relatively simple because it's a comic page. The reasoning behind that, is if I decide I want to do more pages? I do not want to be spending a week on each page. As it is, this took, I think, far too long so I may have to try to modify my style. Style modification may be how I can deal with the faces.

Anyway, this is based off the first chapter of my Fic Thunderstruck. ~Charger426 mentioned something in a message a few nights ago and I thought it might be interesting to give it an attempt. This is just a practice thing, I hope maybe if I do others I can get a better feel for it.

If I can figure out how to fix the faces, I'll repost the image. But for now, I am not gonna sweat it.

This was sketched and scanned then partly redrawn in Photoshop.

I may or may not do other pages. I'll only do it if I feel like it.
